This time was filled with passion because I got to meet other youths from different countries. I met people from China, South America, France and other countries.
We know the guy with the crooked eye is Davey the Baby's brother, and the tall, one next to him in the straw brim, that's Rosa's Eddie V., and the big one that looks like a dumb grown man, he's Fat Boy, though he's not fat anymore nor a boy.
All brown all around, we are safe.
But watch us drive into a neighborhood of another color and our knees go shakity-shake and our car windows get rolled up tight and our eyes look straight.
Yeah.
That is how it goes and goes.
But we aren't afraid.
Those who don't.
Those who don't know any better come into our neighborhood scared.
They think we will attack them with shiny knives.
They are stupid people who are lost and got here by mistake.
The orange thing walked into the salon
And it confessed that its stems had grown long.
The thing started then started to tell the story of it creation
Its Aunt the pheasant and Uncle the crane
Found a cushion with seeds
These seeds did not taste good to them
The pheasant and crane decided to plant the seeds and hoped for rain
They waited and waited but no rain came.
On the fourth day the rain fell
The crane and pheasant were relieved
The seeds growth took on a life of its own
It grew quickly and became large
It was growing so large that the crane and pheasant had to summon
Help to stop the growth
They looked at this orange thing and did not know what to called it
This thing that is plump, roundish, and full of ridges.
It took some time but they called it Pumpkin.
